Maui Film Festival & Taste of Wailea - June 4-8th, 2014

The Maui Film Festival is a fabulous event that should not be missed! This international event brings together film professionals, fans, and Hawaii lovers. Set in a gorgeous South Maui location, the festival is takes place outdoors in Wailea, hosting dramatic views of the Pacific Ocean and South Maui’s gorgeous coastline. In addition to showcasing new films and documentaries, flavors of the island and unique vendors, the Maui Film Festival also attracts a variety of celebrities, directors and producers.

2014 Kahakuloa Coast Half Marathon & Relay - June 7th, 2014

The Kahakuloa Coast Half Marathon & Relay is referred to as “13.1 Miles of Majestic Coastline,” and is a single or two-person marathon that travels through some of the most untouched coastlines in the Hawaiian Islands. With scenic views of the Pacific Ocean and a welcomed coastline breeze, participants will compete to benefit Servants of Keakua Mahalo Nui, a Maui non-profit that focuses on historic restoration projects. The race begins at D.T. Flemings Beach at 6:30am, and travels 6.5 miles to Kahakuloa for a breakfast from 8-10am, and LIVE music by Grammy Award winning slack key guitarist Richard Ho’opi’i from 9-10am.
